Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Snapit (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Snapit.

Snapit is a creator-led commerce platform that connects content creators (“Creators”) with local businesses (“Businesses”) for the purpose of marketing collaborations, campaigns, and sponsored content. The Platform facilitates introductions, campaign management, content review, and communication between Creators and Businesses.

To use the Platform you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Verify your email address within the timeframe specified

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Snapit reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content or campaign information
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content
• Circumvent any fees, payment processes, or Platform mechanisms

Creators agree to deliver campaign content as agreed, disclose sponsored relationships in accordance with applicable advertising laws (including FTC guidelines), and maintain the quality and authenticity of their content.

Businesses agree to provide accurate campaign briefs, compensate Creators as agreed, and respect intellectual property rights of content produced under campaign agreements.

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting content on the Platform, you grant Snapit a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purposes of operating the Platform.

All Snapit trademarks, logos, and Platform software are the exclusive property of Snapit and may not be used without prior written consent.

You may close your account at any time. Snapit may suspend or terminate your account at its discretion if you breach these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snapit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Snapit's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Snapit in the twelve months preceding the claim or $100 USD.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
